Through processing an order online or an over the phone mail order, you are agreeing to our ‘Shipping Policy’, if you do not agree with our policy then do not place an order with our store.

close the loop solutions pty ltd & website uses Australia Post & Sendle for the fulfillment of all phone and online orders within Australia. 

Ownership of the products purchased from compostable alternatives does not transfer to the purchaser until we have received payment in full for the goods. All risk is transferred to you upon delivery at your chosen address.

Express post is available on request at your expense. 

Where a courier service is required, only uses leading and reputable courier companies and Australian postal services. Courier services may incur additional postage costs. You will be notified immediately if this is the case.


All orders will carry a postal tracking number. You will be notified of your purchase tracking number via email as soon as your parcel has been dispatched.

Delivery Schedule

Provided that the products ordered are in stock and the full payment has been received the delivery time can take between 3-10 business days (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays) from the date the payment is received. For remote and isolated locations, or busy periods this delivery time may be longer.

If the products are not in stock and need to be ordered then this delivery time will extend beyond the previously outlined delivery time frame of 3 – 10 business days. For the current status of your order please contact customer service at [email protected]

Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the estimated delivery times provided, delivery times may vary due to changes in supply, or circumstances beyond our control. If your order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us.

We will use all reasonable efforts to deliver your order to you within the estimated delivery time indicated on your Order Confirmation; however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame.

Receiving your Orders

Unless otherwise indicated, we will deliver your order to the address indicated on your Order Confirmation.

All risks and costs associated with providing an incorrect delivery address shall remain with the customer.

Holiday Trading 2023

Compostable Alternatives will be trading as usual through the holiday season, closing only on public holidays: Monday 25th December to Tuesday 26th December. 

Please allow extra time for deliveries during this period. We recommend placing your pre-Christmas orders by Friday, 15th December, to avoid potential delays.

We are closed on Monday, 1st January 2024 (New Year’s Day).
