Through processing an order online or an over the phone mail order, you are agreeing to our ‘Shipping Policy’, if you do not agree with our policy then do not place an order with our store.

Postal Service
Compostablealternatives.com.au website uses Australia Post, TGE, Cochranes or Courier Please for the delivery of all phone and online orders within Australia.
Ownership of the products purchased from compostable alternatives does not transfer to the purchaser until we have received payment in full for the goods. All risk is transferred to you upon delivery at your chosen address.
Express post is available on request at your expense.
Where a courier service is required, compostablealternatives.com.au only uses leading and reputable courier companies and Australian postal services. Courier services may incur additional postage costs. You will be notified immediately if this is the case.
Tracking
All orders include a delivery tracking number. You’ll receive this via email as soon as your parcel is dispatched. The tracking link will take you directly to the courier’s website, where you can follow your delivery updates. If no updates appear within 72 hours, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Delivery Schedule
SA: 1 to 3 business days
VIC, NSW & ACT: 2 to 5 business days
QLD, WA, NT & TAS: 4 to 8 business days
Provided that the products ordered are in stock and the full payment has been received the delivery time can take between 1-10 business days (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays) from the date the payment is received. For remote and isolated locations, or busy periods this delivery time may be longer.
If the products are not in stock and need to be ordered then this delivery time will extend beyond the previously outlined delivery time frame of 1 – 10 business days. For the current status of your order please login your account or check the last email received.
Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the estimated delivery times provided, delivery times may vary due to changes in supply, or circumstances beyond our control. If your order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us.
Receiving your Orders
Unless otherwise indicated, we will deliver your order to the address indicated on your Order Confirmation.
All risks and costs associated with providing an incorrect delivery address shall remain with the customer.
Free shipping to South Australia*
We offer free delivery on orders over $400. This applies to Metro Adelaide, Outer Metro near Adelaide, Gawler, Mount Barker, and Victor Harbor. For areas outside these zones, shipping is charged from $10 per carton. If your postcode is eligible you will have the option at checkout to select free shipping 4CTN+.
